NPR One gathers several US public radio stations into just one app, where you'll have access to the world's most important news as well as interviews and personal stories from across North America. This app lets you tune in to regional or local stations depending on your proximity. If you are not in the USA, you'll be able to to access the general information station and listen to NPR stations from anywhere in the world. Inside NPR One you can access the content in three ways: through the app's own suggestions, through broadcast history, or through the 'now playing' feature. In the latter, you'll be able to listen to live radio stations. Whether you want to use NPR all day or just listen to the nightly news, you can set the app to stop playing at a preset time so, for instance, it doesn't keep playing after you fall asleep. In addition, the media player lets you skip through news and stories with the tap of a button, as well as fast forward and rewind the broadcast in 15- or 30-second intervals.
