Compass Point: West is a Clash of Clans–style strategy game where you have to create a settlement way out west. Doing so requires you to explore new territories dominated by oil tycoons and fend off their incessant attacks. You can build loads of different structures in your settlement, including a saloon, town hall, or barracks. Once you've constructed a new building you can also level it up to get better output. In fact, it's not just that you can level them up – you have to. If you want to access the best units and most advanced missions, you need highly evolved buildings. Managing your settlement is a big part of Compass Point: West but not the only bit. You'll also spend loads of time planning attacks on enemy camps, where you can deploy all your units on the map to see how well they do against the opposition. Compass Point: West is an entertaining strategy game with great graphics. It may not have a particularly original approach (in fact it's highly reminiscent of other titles in the same genre), but it offers a familiar, and to a certain point fun, gaming experience.
